If Donald Trump is elected U.S. President, the issue on the provision of lethal weapons to Ukraine could be unlocked and an option of arms sales with deferred payments could be offered, the former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich, stated in an interview with European Pravda. Gingrich made the assertion response to the question on how U.S. policy toward Ukraine will change in case of Trump’s victory.

“We can say for sure that President Trump will unlock the issue on provision of weapons to Ukraine. Donald Trump can say pleasant things about Putin but in the meantime he will sell weapons to Ukraine,” Gingrich said. “It will be precisely selling and I think that the deferral of payments will be offered to Ukraine,” the former Speaker added.

Amen, Newt keep quiet. Trump is making a mistake bringing him into his circle.

Yep.....no doubt about it....they were very happy to return to Russia...the celebrations were spectacular! I made a point to look at it’s history. Quite a story about Catherine the Great too....no wonder they think so highly of her!

Newt can be one of the old war horses as much as McCain is....they are of that mindset that keeps the cold war in play. Our military leaders had problems with these guys because ‘they need’ an enemy.

So is his buddy Adelson going to loan them money - or is this another MIC gift to the US taxpayer?

You should support Clinton because she’ll give you the war with Russia you so desperately want.

In my view, not fostering a coup of their democratically elected government by aligning with neo-nazis would have been the ‘least’ we could have done.

Agreed.

I don’t think he’s playing with a full deck.

I think he’s quite smart, but sometimes the very smart people have no social graces. They say things without the slightest clue what the impact will be. Of course that’s being charitable.

There is an offside chance Newt knows exactly what he is doing, trying to hurt Trump.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I’ve never heard a better presentation on the Constitution than Gingrich’s.

Then he’ll go right out and say things that conflict with what he just said.

Really strange...

Probably. I think he’s been quite critical at times, and I don’t like a guy like that hanging around.

I would’t argue with your points there.

I don’t agree with Putin going in like he did, but it’s a done deal now.

Borders may remain drawn as they are, but it’s obvious who is in control

This kind of thing wreaks of 20 Century actions that started massive wars. It was a stupid thing to do.

Trump will have a “conversation” with Newt. It could be deliberate with Trump pulling a feint with The Vladsternator.

BTW...I remember as Putin's army began taking control of Crimea....our Military leaders were astounded as it went, and yes even impressed with how he pulled that off...but also glad because that ‘exposed’ Putin's capability as well.

The greatest advantage Putin's Military Commanders had was they knew how to stop and prevent ‘all’ Kiev's Military communications...and did so. It was pretty much sooth sailing for that. The entire strategy was brilliant, as they said. Furthermore most of the population was on board once they understood was was happening.

It was exciting being on the web then and seeing how Military people were viewing that because they weren't looking at it thru the eyes of politics...but of Military maneuver's.
