WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton sought Tuesday to present herself as a model of "steady leadership" in the face of terrorist attacks and took a shot at Republican Donald Trump's temperament and preparation for handling such moments.
"We know what it takes," Clinton said at the outset of a call with a team of national security and counterterrorism advisers. "We can't lose our cool and start ranting and waving our arms. We shouldn't toss around extreme proposals that won't be effective and lose sight of who we are. That's what the terrorists are aiming for."
In the wake of weekend attacks in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota, Clinton and Trump have jockeyed to appear the best positioned to handle and head off such incidents during their potential presidencies.
Trump has blamed President Barack Obama and Clinton, who served as Obama's first secretary of state, for insufficient efforts and suggested that profiling is necessary to counter the threat.

Just think, Hajj and all the expense is no longer necessary, no need or waste of stones to throw at the devil (considering how long they have been doing this, a few should have hit their mark and killed the bastard devil by now), and lastly, Saudi Arabia will save all that money with the clean up after the tent falls on the stupid Muslims. Problem solved, no Hajj, no pagan rock, no religion, and the Saudis get to keep all the money. What is not to like?

Hillary reserves her ranting for Republicans. CNN recently played a “newly discovered” tape of Hillary ranting that Bush administration knew about the dangerous air quality at Ground Zero after 9/11 and did nothing about it. I suppose we were supposed to be impressed by her screeching.
Clinton says ‘ranting and waving our arms’ is no way to respond to terrorism.
Her approach is to tell everyone to stand down, leave the Americans to die, go to bed, and lie to the public about what happened in the morning.
And that's the only record of her remonstrance? The headline made me think maybe she had actually got out of the bunker. Weak.

Hillary talks like a robot with a drained battery. Perhaps “talk” is the wrong word. Maybe “drones” on and on. She has no emotion or enthusiasm when discussing improving America or stopping terrorists. But when she is called into question, she gets animated and her voice turns to a screeching sound.
Sure, she is calm and cool when deciding to let Americans die in places like Benghazi. She doesn’t get stirred up when Muslim refugees knife Americans or plant bombs targeting our military on US soil. But talk about the criminal activities of the Clinton foundation, and she suddenly starts ranting and getting animated.
Won’t help her though.
Americans will not accept fellow citizens senselessly killed by islamic terrorists and that is “who we are.”
Mrs. Clinton has no solution or even interest. Donald Trump does.
That would be much more impressive if any of the decisions she was part of showed any signs of success. As it was, I recall her leading the charge against the surge in Iraq.
