I am a knitter - it’s great because you can take it with you.
Let me encourage you to hang in there! People love receiving nice home-knit sweaters. I try and whip up a little Nordic knit sweater whenever a baby is born (usually a grandbaby to one of my friends).
Having said that, I am currently behind 2 sweaters. I’ve been spending too much time following The Donald around! Let me be the first to say it - Trump’s fault! lol
What lovely gifts to give. I have a couple of afghans that one of my grandmothers crocheted for me and I cherish them.
My sister used to do a little crocheting. She made a pillow for our mom and Christmas stockings for many. They’re individual squares in red, white and green that she stitched together with a large “knitted” look at the top in which she stitched the person’s name - they’re darling!
As much as I gripe, I am enjoying it. Nice to find other knitters in our Trump Family. :) I’ve got two ugly scarves done. All I need to do is finish them with little flowers sewn on that my DIL made. Then one goes to the granddaughter and the other to her little friend down the street.
