While I hope he does it and soon, at this point does his endorsement really help Trump out in November?

I can't imagine it would help Trump much at this point, any boost is a benefit. I was initially a Cruz supporter, but even if he endorses Trump now, I'll never vote for him in a primary should he run again. Cruz was a self-centered, lying cry baby to not endorse Trump at the Convention. Nothing about the reasons he's given for not endorsing Trump has changed. So why might he possibly be endorsing Trump now? To hook his wagon to a winner? Because he actually thinks the RNC will not give him support for future runs? If either of those are the reasons, he's still self-centered. It may be that he has actually reached the conclusion that we need to defeat Hillary, but I'm so cynical about his motives that I don't believe it.

Possibly. And Trump needs every vote he can get as a hedge against the evildoers who never sleep.

I think it does because it removes one more arrow from The Left’s quiver to shoot at Trump!

As for Cruz, there’s no question it COULD help him. In Texas a deal is STILL a deal to MOST and he SIGNED a contract and then shot the finger at it when he lost! A lot of people, me being one, could not even CONSIDER supporting him much less voting for him based on this one fact standing all by itself. And, I was one of his biggest supporters at first plus I donated to him and got others to donate several thousand to him.

Obviously, my main man now is The Don !

"Trump, meanwhile, has the support of 60 percent of the voters who cast ballots for Sens. Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio in the primary."

This is an Illinois poll, but if true and if true in other states, it could mean a lot of votes. Could make the difference in tight battleground states if Cruz would endorse and try to persuade his supporters to help save the country from going down the tubes with Hillary.
