I’ve not read any of the replies on this posting but the still picture I’ve seen of the suspect appears he’s middle eastern and not latino like they’re saying.

Good Lord, these people...no evidence of terrorism...LOL...five dead people from a random shooting in a shopping mall.
Something to keep in mind here is that the “Hispanic” description often comes from eyewitnesses on the scene — many of whom (particularly in a chaotic scene) wouldn’t necessarily know how to distinguish between various swarthy ethnic groups.
