I’m no troll, I expected more facts and more preparation from Trump. He missed so many opportunities to strongly counter her rehearsed BS. She blamed Wall Street for the 2008 financial crisis - and he said nothing about govt role in forcing banks to give loans to people with no collateral, or even jobs. Citi was threatened by a law suit by Barney Franks and his goons if they tightened loan requirements...

She made it sound like Obambi and her made a great deal to contain Iran’s nuclear weapons plan. He could have mentioned a few of the details of the deal that were a joke. We have to give them, something like 60 days notice before an inspection and no inspectors can be from the US.

She hinted that Trump doesn’t give as much to charity as he wants us to believe. My God, was he asleep or something. The door was opened to attack the Clinton Foundation, giving less than 9 % to charities, the lavish salaries to friends on the board, millions spent on travel and 5-star hotels. Then all the instances of large donations and speaking fees soon repaid with favors, the rape of Hiati. etc.

I’m not expecting a polished politician, but I am expecting someone who can point out that she’s a liar, not trusted by a large majority of the people. I expect someone to not let her continue to lie and not be called on it.

Hopefully she appeared to slick, rehearsed and mean-spirited, but overall if Trump supporters were not a little disappointed by his performance, they are deluding themselves.

Trump’s a big picture guy. He’s never going to be countering with details, just not who he is. But his big picture, dreamer side is why he’s so successful.

..You stated.....”I’m not expecting a polished politician, but I am expecting someone who can point out that she’s a liar, not trusted by a large majority of the people. I expect someone to not let her continue to lie and not be called on it.”......

Where have you been, really? There’s not a soul on this planet that isn’t aware she’s a liar or trusted.....even she knows that.

One of the things we all learn is to ‘curb our expectations’ when it comes to debates.....Hillary was called on plenty tonight and direct hits.....the ‘ONLY’ time the audience responded with cheers was when Trump nailed her on the e-mails....and he did that in one full swoop with very few words. I say this to make my point....that the even though in few words EVERYBODY knew exactly what he was talking about without going into any details whatsoever.....so e everybody knows as well she is a liar...and their repose ore than evidenced that.

I have been with Trump from day one. I’ll crawl through a minefield to vote for him.

And you are spot on. I was hoping for so much more.

That said, I thought the same during the primaries. He just kept just marching on though.

Good point. Also, he could have mentioned Glass-Steagall, effectively repealed under Bill Clinton, and a major contributor to 2007-2008.
