No, Trump didn't lose any of his his supporters, because we are ALL diehards, but neither did he manage to win over anyone and he let a whole LOT of opportunities slip by.

But he could have lost the election. One Gerald Ford moment where he got a critical fact wrong, one goofy gesture, one insult too far and that would be the end. It's a dangerous situation for him, and he managed to make it through without a major screwup. So he's got that going for him, which is nice.
