Here it seems wherever you go you have to cross a shipping lane. I hate them at daytime let alone at night.

Yes they can be a real pain. We have ships,here in the Keys, in the Southbound lane coming in really shallow to get out of the Gulfstream current to save fuel and really mess with the local boaters. They won’t get out of the way for anything.The north bounnd lane for us is in about 600 feet.not much of a problem except for dolphin fishermen and deep droppers.
