And short of Trump imploding, he wins no matter what else happens. He just needs to come out looking reasonable.

Die hard Hillary Voters... Die Hard Trump voters.. and folks who have already decided they won’t vote for Hillary but not sure if they can vote for Trump.
No matter what Hillary does or says, she won’t convince one person from that third group to vote for her... As long as Trump comes out of this looking like a reasonable person, the majority of that third group will decide they can and will vote for Trump.
If he doesn’t come out looking reasonable to them, they will vote third party or stay home.
