Reagan v Ford 1976

Reagan had 1,078 delegates and 24 states as the challenger.

Ford had 1,121 delegates and 27 states as the incumbent.

==

Jeb didn’t even have 10% support in 2016.

Not only that but he does NOT support the party’s nominee and his wretched family supports its Dem opponent. Jeb, look to Romney, Sr., Bill Scranton and Nelson Rockefeller who would not back Goldwater in 1964. They had great careers after that, didn’t they?? Look at Richard Nixon and Reagan, who endorsed and campaigned for Goldwater. Ain’t no way we’re voting for you, Mr. Bush, Nada, not ever.

Three lonely delegates?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/07/20/how-much-each-republican-candidate-raised-for-every-vote-won/
Trump, 1,725
Ted Cruz, 475
John Kasich, 120
Marco Rubio, 114
Ben Carson, 7
Jeb Bush, 3
Rand Paul, 2

(It’s the Compost, `I’m With Her’ BS, free subscription BS, I wouldn’t click it if I were you)
53 million @ delegate? They didn’t want to buy a landslide, that’s the only explanation I can think of ....
