Leonardo DiCaprio is an actor, and a pretty good one

He's a casting couch male ingenue. A producers butt boy.

I have never seen him give a performance any more than mediocre. He has been in some pretty good movies (gangs of NY being the best). But he was eminently forgettable.

You obviously have never taken in the "The Beach"... a combination of Apocalypse Now, Jaws and Swiss Family Robinson... it was nothing like I'd ever taken in before.... and since.... a cinematic masterpiece....
