I have two thoughts this morning....
1) Our Donald was trying to remain gentlemanly, but listening to Clinton was probably like a man listening to a lying, crooked, nasty ex-wife in a courtroom....difficult to maintain complete composure
2) his comment about having some tough things to say about Hillary and Bill, but deciding NOT to say them was interesting. I think he was giving her a warning that next, it’s both barrels.
Ok - 3 things.....I think Donald was relying too much on just using the material he uses when he’s at his rallies. He needs to start putting together a list of the particulars...the lies, the pay-for-play facts, the Benghazi fiasco, etc. No generalities.
I hope Hitlery goes into hiding for days now, and only comes out to have a seizure or trip or bob her head.
Good morning nikos and all, wow, over 5,000 replies to last night’s debate thread! Took the last 2 days off from politics and wound up getting a lot of items off my honey-do-list.
Did not watch the debate last night but have been reviewing the comments from many different sites. Watched Hannity’s interview with Newt, he always puts things into perspective quite well.

I guess I avoided the fray, by watching the debate and only sporadically getting on FR.
How many intruders were there you think? Trump is ahead in every single online poll.
Not sure how its done. I am a deplorable copy and past poster. Also link reference posts. I’m just not savy so I apologize.
There are a couple of threads on this however.
Someone, somehow, in NY, (wabc. ?), cut the Savage show off the air..right in the middle of his broadcast. Ostensibly, he was discussing Hillary’s lack of health.
Savage tweeted he had been sabotaged. Another show was imposed in place of Savage in NY. Some other stations followed suit, reportedly. They just played a previous show.
Any update or corrections welcome to my post.
This particular incident infuriated me. We are living in Venezuela!! Not on my watch!

A little different take on Trump holding back from me. Please go to YouTube for Hannity exchange with Newt Gingrich on this. Love him or cringe, Gingrich is brilliant.
Also KellyAnn Conway linked to a NYPost story this morning about Trump WINNING undecided, independents and dems in heavily dem county in PA.
Main thing I stand by is that Trump isn’t a politician and didn’t get this far by being anything other than Trump. And this is a change election. Best line of night was Trump pointing out Hillary had thirty years to fix all these issues facing our country and didn’t do a thing. That will resonate.
I respect the anger, no problem. What could have been a valuable resource was wasted. All I was saying was that I don't think Jim intended the result that followed his action. I think he was trying to be helpful.

It was awful. I honestly thought the Clinton campaign had found our FR site and targeted it. I don’t mind honest comments, but the hand wringing and snarky “it’s over” comments were rampant.

When able to download comments (20 at a time very slowly ) maybe two or three had to do with the actual debate the remainer were attacks on Trump or fellow posters. Several times the site locked up completely because people were posting at the same time. If it had been about the debate it would have been acceptable but most were either attacks or people defending themselves or Trump. One big broohaha!

If I may chime in. I have been a loyal Freeper for over 15 years, so I know the screen names well. During the last half of the debate, a good 2/3 of the posters I have never seen.
Folks we were Freeped big time and it made the thread nearly unbearable.
