While I was, and am disappointed in Cruz allowing things to become so personal that for months he failed to do what he could do to avoid a Clinton victory...
I am glad and overjoyed that he woke up (and sadly, I believe that the RNC’s notification that people who do not support the nominee might lose all RNC funding had the most to do with it), and is now actively campaigning for Trump and against Hillary.
No matter what you might think, there are still millions of loyal supporters of his who listen to him and follow his lead. The fact that he is now openly and strongly advocating against Hillary and for Trump will do Trump good in ensuring that that hemorrhage of potential no shows stops and is dried up.
...and for that I am grateful because we need them all.
Not just to narrowly defeat Hillary, but to slam dink her and the DNC with a landslide victory for Trump.
THAT is what our nation needs.
