First post-debate Poll - Gravis (Clear win for Trump)
Gravis ^ | 9/27/2016

Posted on 09/27/2016 7:25:01 AM PDT by JerseyRepub

Interestingly, in this poll, she won the debate by 48-43, BUT it did not sway too many people (only 5% said they changed their mind and most actually moved towards Trump)

Who would you vote for is in favor of Trump 48-43!

Eat that CNN...

The consensus seemed to be that this was unfair to Trump.

I think you’re right.

It’s kind of like when Al Sharpton says something you agree with, and you wind up rethinking your opinion to find out if and where you went wrong.

People in the UK can’t vote

Are you sure about that?

Guys, it doesn’t matter who won the debate.... because who won on style or on forensic scoring of the debate is irrelevant.

Hillary has no more votes to get, no watching was debating whether or not to vote for her.. if they are going to vote for her they already made up their minds to.

Those who were undecided were people who just had to decide whether or not Trump was the crazy racist monster the left and media have been claiming he is for over a year, or is he a reasonable person who they could vote for. If they decided he was reasonable, they will vote for him.. if not, they will stay home or go third party. But none of them are going to vote Hillary no matter what she or Trump did or said.

Trump came out of the debate looking reasonable, that’s all he had to do... so many of those on the fence about supporting him will now do so.

Hillary could have won the debate on style and points 100 to 1 and it wouldn’t make a difference on the election outcome... as long as Trump appeared reasonable, he got the votes.. Hillary has no more votes to get.

Trump showed up for the debate last night. And while those of us who know a lot about how things have been going in our country wish that he had ripped Hillary more...his efforts last night to come across Presidential and still draw critical contrasts is proving to have worked.

For Heaven’s sake, a Time Poll on who won the debate, which normally swings hard to the DNC is showing, after over 1.6 million votes Trump winning THIS debate 55% to 45%.

http://time.com/4…/presidential-debate-clinton-trump-survey/

The CNBC poll, and you know who that one normally goes to, with almost 1 million votes, is showing Trump winning that debate 67% to 33% for Pete’s sake.

http://www.cnbc.com/…/vote-who-won-the-first-presidential-d…;

So most Americans not only see that he showed up...but liked what he had to say.

That is amazing and has to be driving Hillary and the DNC crazy.

Good. They deserve every bit of it.

The fact is, the American people have seen enough of and heard enough of Hillary over the last 30 years.

...and more and more of them believe Trump means what he says and is capable of delivering on it.

BTW, of course the Drudge poll is showing a huge victory for Trump. With 750,000 votes it has Trump winning 82% to Hillary’s 18%.

Maybe in another context, but not in the context of the threat of ISIS, and not nearly strong enough. Not nearly.

Hillary was impeccably made-up and looked about as pretty as was possible for her. Unfortunately she looked like a porcelein doll, and her rhetoric was all so planned and scripted that she seemed robotic. After awhile her forced smile became too much to watch.

Trump was a bit disappointing to me, but he did call her out on her sudden change of positions where she is now mouthing support for Trump’s positions. She did not have a good response to his accusations because he was telling the truth. In the end she was mouthing support for the same old, same old. I think that is why she did not come out so well in the post debate polls, in spite of her so-called perfect delivery of a prepared script.

“Maybe in another context, but not in the context of the threat of ISIS, and not nearly strong enough. Not nearly.”

Relax. There are two more debates coming. Trump will review how he performed in the first one and sharpen his presentation.

That aside, don’t lose sight of the real prize, which isn’t ‘getting’ Clinton on the debate stage. The real goal here is to convince the undecideds and other waffling voters that he’s presidential. That will bring them to the polls, and put Trump in the White House.

THEN he will deal with ISIS.

If this debate performance doesn’t move the needle for Hillary, she’s finished and you can say hello to President Trump.

There are people on this thread who have spent 18 of Hillary's 25 years in limelight - since this place opened - excoriating her (rightfully so) in thousands and thousands of words, yet expected - nay, DEMANDED - Donald Trump to do it in 90 minutes.

Ya'll know what you can do...

You mix truth with lies.

Americans are not idiots. The idiots are in the establishment.

Americans listened to Trump. Watch what happens.

Agree 100%.

Trump fans wanted him to “murder” her, but then, Trump would have been called a murderer, right?

In addition, the party affiliation was 38D/33R/29I when it’s likely turnout will probably be closer to neutral on D vs R this time (maybe D+2)

“So most Americans not only see that he showed up...but liked what he had to say.”

Even the some of the MSM had to admit that Trump did very well in the first 30-40 minutes. He really ran with the issues on the economy and did it with smarts and passion. That’s the part of the debate that most people will remember and that’s why he is getting better support for it.

Van Jones..left wingnut CNN .. called the first 30 minutes all Trump and that he did great, and correctly stated that most people turned the debate off after the first 30 minutes. The only on-line poll that went large for Hillary was the fraudulent CNN poll.

What good is scamming a poll if nobody but the scammer believes it!

She really is in a bind. She literally can not do what she has to do. She has already pushed dangerously close to the line with her aggressive behavior that she risks appearing to be the incarnation of Nurse Wratched. And it did not steal one vote from him, it would appear. So she can’t risk going any further in that direction. Lester the Molester did such a strong job of helping her it makes her appear incompetent so even more help from the moderators won’t help her. And if she tries to back away from her aggressive tendencies she won’t change any votes either and, frankly, she would become unrecognizable. Warm, fuzzy Hillary would appear to be an living example of spirit possession.

Yeah, she brought up a number of things that, we’re I her, I would never raise. I might be prepared to deal with whatever were some one else raise it but you just don’t waggle your vulnerable areas in the face of your opponent. Again, doing so just further illuminates just how much help she is getting from the media/moderators and instead of enhancing her appearance makes her appear incompetent. Do you really want a president representing us who is this clueless is the question that comes to the mind of an observer.
