The cut parts are slowly greening relative to the uncut parts.
That's a lot of turf to change color of- I don't have the ground equipment to disperse any pigments. Considered a harrow for contrast but I sold mine 10 years ago after I went for the meadow effect.

Industrial farming is big here. Very large scale potato crops, oats, barley, canola, broccoli & cauliflower.
I run tugboats in NYC so I just maintain my fields as meadows.
Many Christmas tree stands too.
Not a lot of livestock- hard to heat up here.
