No need for a moderator. They are useless. Trump should demand next debate they go one on one. Give them 90 minutes to duke it out. They can have a host come out at the beginning to introduce them, but then exit the stage.
Let the nominees ask the question on stage and allow a moderator a time limit. The moderator should not ask additional questions period.

How about a moderator who would be totally unbiased and neutral?Maybe someone like Billy Graham Jr.?
Learn a 3 part strategy, a quick answer to satisfy hack-moderator question, what conservative policy is and why it works, why the democrats policies haven’t work and several examples.
And when it comes to a rebuttal, a quick, relevant, sarcastic, yet polite enough to be palatable. Don’t give a long answer unless you have it nailed down.
