Bozell: GOP Should Have Vetoed Moderators from NBC Networks Due to the Far-Left Tilt

Media Research Center president Brent Bozell continued his tear on Tuesday denouncing Lester Holt’s “failed” performance as Monday’s presidential debate moderator with two appearances on Fox Business Network (FBN) programming and called out the Republican National Committee (RNC) for accepting any potential moderator from NBC, MSNBC, or CNBC.

"You are supposed to vet these people. What do you expect somebody from NBC? NBC/MSNBC/CNBC have been in the tank completely for Democrats, have been savaging Republicans all season long. If I had been the RNC, I would have simply said, I’m not taking anybody from that network," Bozell told FBN host Stuart Varney near the end of the first TV hit.

"Now, think about this, Trish. Benghazi, medical records, e-mails, the Clinton Foundation, all of them are a lot more important than that stupid birther issue, and yet he didn't — he didn't question her on a single thing. This was a lopsided debate performance," stated Bozell.

It’s like this, Bozell. You see, the GOP are idiots. They nominate chumps year after year, expect the “base” to vote for these losers, and when the people finally nominate a winner, the GOP refuse to back the people’s choice.

You expect the GOP to competently handle a series of stupid debates? Are you insane?

The thing about it is Holt did not hurt Trump...In my opinion, it helped...It showed the viewers just how biased the media is toward Clinton and really made them look foolish....

Well I will give you this. If you are going to have a biased moderator, it is better to have one that is an obvious moron. Everyone sees it. Everyone gets it. Two against one.

Obviously left moderators don’t have enough gravitas to hold an impartial debate.

FOX business with Maria Bartiromo was the last debate close to being informative moderators, and Ted Cruz had the best informative performance in one of the last Republican debates.

Although credit to Bernie Sanders to remember enough of the issues/votes when Clinton was in congress to bring some reality to Democrat debates so she didn’t away with misrepresentations.

There are two more debates and if the rats try to keep hammering Trump on the birther thing, or when he was against the war, or his taxes, they are going schmuckify themselves on national TV.

Completely agree - I had never seen Lester Holt before last night as I refuse to watch NBC or any of it’s leftist affiliates, but I doubt I’ll ever see him again for the same reason.

It was to Trump’s advantage to have an obviously hostile “moderator.” Even lots of liberals noticed and were not entirely comfortable. Add to that Mrs Bill’s read-out style delivery and Trump got any votes that changed.

If all the choices are employees of the Ministry of Propaganda, then it really doesn’t matter, you’re going to get a propagandist.

Trump can handle a maroon moderator, just like he doesn’t need “help” from endless Freeper vanity spaz-ters. Just so you know.

I’m so sick and tired of the GOP always caving on who moderates these rigged debates. Why the hell don’t they demand a conservative moderator - Hannity, Cavuto, Ingraham, WSJ Mary O’Grady, Barone, Limbaugh, Malkin, Drudge ???

If they can’t get a conservative moderator for at least one debate, skip the damn debates and have town halls, where people are submitting questions. Have a moderator to make sure the candidates stay within time limits, but they ask no questions.

I look at it another way. NBC did Trump the biggest favor in the world. Holt set up Hillary to use every bit of ammunition to destroy Trump. On the other hand, Holt made sure Trump never took his gun out of the holster.

The result? Hillary fired all her ammo and didn’t hit Trump. Everything Trump didn’t say can now be used and it will be fresh. Meanwhile Hillary has nothing left to attack Trump with.

Game, set, match.

“There are two more debates . . . “

And look at who is moderating the next one: Anderson Cooper and a person from ABC named Martha Raddatz (I think). Looks like more of the same, only DOUBLED.

The campaigns should devise the questions. I believe the media is giving the questions to the Democrats ahead of time
