The real story is that the beauty pageant business is a business. Within it they have ‘stars’ and those stars have contracts. They develop a culture in which women, who already are very beautiful women, have a language and behavior unique to that culture. So to call a beautiful woman within that culture “miss piggy” is not to say that she is fat, because she is already acknowledged as beautiful. It is a language used to push the stars to maintain. It actually is designed to help.
Keep in mind that ALL of the women are already acknowledged as beautiful. The fat lady you know from down the street IS NOT there. There is no ‘fat shaming’ going on, because none of them are fat.
Now we learn she had a contract. That doesn’t phase this discussion above one bit. It makes it even more a HELPFUL act for everyone to stay on top of a person to keep them in contention.
I’m betting that the ladies at Fox News, Megyn Kelly included, all have such clauses in their contracts about weight.
And I’ll bet she knows it.

Hillary is a say anything liar.
Had Ms. Kelly done her homework, she might have found out about Machado’s shady past....threats to kill a judge, driving the getaway car after her boyfriend attempted to murder his BIL, possibly a porn actress. Machado wanted another 15 minutes of fame to help her career. Hillary and Kelly and others gave it to her.
These people aren’t bothering to even try to appear to be journalists anymore.
