Last Friday, the Tampa Bay Times published an absolutely asinine editorial in which it claimed the NRA and companies like Delta Defense are prepping gun owners for the legal ramifications of shooting someone.
The state has created such a Wild West atmosphere that gun owners are signing up for coaching and legal help so they can be prepared when they shoot someone.
An emerging industry that offers instructions to members for responding to police after they shoot someone, liability coverage and legal advice fuels a shoot-first mentality.

U Loot, we shoot
I live my life without them.
And I’m healthier and happier not to put up with their toxic bilge.
No, it's self defense against prosecutors who hate the 2A and those who defend themselves from criminals.
That is NOT a Glock. It looks to me like a Beretta 92 Inox.
Agreed not a GLOCK. Fiona (Burn Notice) on the right wouldn’t even need a gun.
But it’s okay to prep your rent-a-mob protesters on how to resist, what to say, which lawyer to call, etc. Gotcha.
That really is a case of projections because Democrats are known to mobilize lawyers for a terrorist before a terror act, like in the case of Lincoln’s murder and follow up attacks , civil or criminal, such as the gay wedding cake cases and Hillary’s email crimes etc... It is all preplanned
save
Definitely a Beretta 92.
Where do you begin with the lies in this article?
We were taught in our CCW class, by a county sheriff deputy, NOT to talk to the police until a couple of days after a shooting because of emotions running so high, getting locked into an immediate statement. The class was largely concentrated in the law. There is a fine line between self defense and murder in certain situations.
If you start a confrontation (start a screaming match or physical fight in the Wal Mart parking lot) and you shoot the person you are in that fight with, you will be charged.
They said back in 2006 that Florida would turn into the “Wild West” with people shooting it out in the streets. The only people “shooting it out in the streets” are the criminals who did it back then and who still do it now.
If the 1.6 murderous gun owners were shooting it out, there would be carnage on a massive scale.
“Floridas 2005 stand your ground law changed the legal landscape and opened the floodgates.”
No flood yet though.
