I don't doubt that Obama would leak classified info to hurt Trump, but maybe the info provided isn't from the classified briefings. They may instead be trying to goad Trump into actually saying (or hinting at, at least) what is in the briefings so they can then go after him on that front (not responsible with classified info). They are going to pull out all the stops, that is for sure.
