Agree up to a point. Hillary is using this woman in her official campaign ads. The Dems contacted her this summer and they prepared and distributed press packets on her to the MSM prior to the debate. Hillary gave them a heads up that she would be mentioning Machado in the debate. It was a total setup with the MSM being her surrogates.
Trump or his surrogates should respond. Trump's tweets this morning were spot on. The last tweet could be significant if there is some connection to Hillary or Bill and how she was able to obtain citizenship in the US considering her checkered past.

Yes, Trump needs to stick primarily to the substantive issues, but Hillary may have screwed up royally selecting Machado as the poster girl for Trump's mistreatment of women. It is another "Michael Brown" like miscalculation.
I wonder if Trump has some information on how she obtained information as to how she obtained a green card and eventual citizenship.
We are generally unhappy with the way the GOP reacts to Dem smears and attacks. The Stupid Party likes to stay above the fray and not get down in the gutter with the Dems. As a result, the Dems win the narrative. Bush 43 was the kigame who let the Dems bash him without responding. McCain was even afraid the use Obama's middle name. And McCain and Romney did not go after Obama personally re his associations with terrorists and communists. I say let Trump be Trump.

Someone pointed out (I think it was Scott Adams of "Dilbert" fame) that this election is like a high school contest between a nerdy know-it-all kid and a smart aleck Jock.
