Despite a series of shameful episodes this week, Trump still leads in Ohio comfortably, he’s within the margin of error in North Carolina, and he’s staying within striking distance in Pennsylvania.
If I were a Clinton supporter or just an average citizen who doesn’t care to live out the plot line of a Cormac McCarthy novel, I would be very afraid. Given Trump’s behavior over the past week (and month and year), Trump should be down 20 points by now and the media should be speculating about Clinton’s cabinet choices. But that is not our fate. Instead, Americans seem to be buckling up for one more month of chaos, crude comments, leaked Democratic documents, the appeasement of Russian barbarism, ill-prepared debate performances and the worst presidential choice in U.S. history.
This week will show Trump falling further behind in the polls. But if the past is prologue, expect him to climb his way back into the race and keep elites and influencers on the edge of their seats until election night. Trump appears to be the default position for millions of voters. And if he stops working every day to drive them away over the next four weeks, Trump could still be elected the 45th president of the United States.

If you go over to Bezos’ Blog (WP), nearly every political article is a hyperventilating attack on Trump by the Washington Post-Blog’s stable of journobloggers.

You see, if she wins, then the tensions with Russia will skyrocket, and Putin may even do a first strike before she gets sworn in (I’d consider it, if I was him - because she is utterly delusional, and thinks that a war with Russia is both desirable and winnable). THAT scares the crap out of me.
Now, OTOH, if Trump wins, we (and Putin) just have to wait until January 20 for sanity to be restored to US foreign policy in general, and to our policy with Russia in particular. Trump won’t kiss Putin’s arse, and will actually be a fierce competitor in many ways, but a SANE one. I frankly expect relations to improve considerably, as we and Russia have 2 rather large and dangerous opponents in common - Islam and China. It would be in the best interests of both nations to come together on those issues, and to try to iron out or put on the back burner any other issues that we may have.
For reasons no one understands (/s) it seems the world's 'elites' tend to feather their own nests... especially when 'the people' lose the power to check their greed...
Ever notice the number of young attractive women in their 20’s and early 30’s compared to the old white men in their 50’s and 60’s on FOXNews? It's laughable... too many to be a coincidence...We're talking 'major insecure'... Even MSNBC does better.
Well, a lot of the FOX ladies are older than that, but most of them are quite bright, even Megan Kelly - although I still think she has screws loose up there. :)
I would take Harris Faulkner, or Maria Bartiromo or Patty Ann Brown or Liz Clayman or Kimberly Guilifoyle any day over Mika Brizinski.
Although DJT may win, even by a landslide, the left, like the poor, will ALWAYS be with us.
