The Obama administration has “strongly” condemned Israel for plans to construct housing on land in Judea and Samaria, saying it calls Israel’s commitment to a negotiated agreement into question.
The State Department says a proposal to build a new settlement with up to 300 units runs counter to the concept of a two-state solution to the long-running conflict.
The condemnation apparently refers to recently approved plans for 98 units to resettle evacuees from the soon-to-be-razed outpost of Amona, near Ofra...

Settlements? They mean apartments...on their sovereign land. Notice how the left is never bothered about real settlements by illegal aliens in our country.

In addition to a Jewish homeland in what was called the Holy Land, we now know we need a Christian Homeland there too.
Since they pre-date the Moslems, let’s just carve it out of traditional Christian areas like Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan. Sort of a protective shell around Israel. Can invite friendly refugees like Yazidis to settle too.

Not to be too difficult, but Judea and Samaria are both on the west bank and not on the east bank.
In short, they are upset that Israel in building housing in what is not in dispute unless you go back to ridiculous UN lines of 1947ish. The 1917 map showed Jews in all of Israel.
