I live in NC, also. I feel pretty confident that Trump will win the state. I have to do some traveling in eastern NC for work and I see Trump signs all over the place, but I can count on one hand the number of Hillary signs I have seen. I think Romney would have made a good president (MUCH better than Obama), but many conservatives simply stayed home and did not vote. I think they will show up in droves to vote for Trump, especially after Mike Pence's performance on Tuesday night.
I am more worried about the Governor's race! If Cooper, who has been running for Governor the entire time he has been Attorney General, wins that race, I will be sick! He has refused to do his job if it involved a law with which he did not agree. The Democrats have done such a good job lying about McCrory's record, I am afraid the low information voters might believe them. The NAACP have made fools of themselves and the Soros-backed BLM has been working overtime to cause chaos in the state, all of which could help Cooper. I am actually hoping that the turn out for Trump will help both the Governor and Richard Burr in the Senate race. The last thing we need is another liberal woman as Senator - especially one who used to be a lawyer for the ACLU!
