I am about 10 miles from the coast. Right now the wind is a bit higher than in the video. About 25 to 30 MPH. So add about 15 to 20 MPH to that and you probably have what it is on the coast which would be about 40 to 50 MPH. A bit high but hardly catastrophic...so far.

At this moment, the eye is at its closest approach to Ft. Lauderdale and is now moving north of us. Therefore, the winds should continue to diminish.
