Maybe I’m missing something here — the Syrian government is opposed to ISIS. Russia has allied with the government to destroy ISIS, right? Making great headway.
But Obama wants to fight both the Syrian government and ISIS at the same time [supposedly]. The longer he did that without Russia around, the stronger ISIS became.

Since Russia has been more effective against ISIS [as I understand it] the US would be far from united if it came to war with Russia over Syria.
Units of the Russian backed SSA and Iranian troops are maneuvering to take up positions along the Golan ... Showdown all but inevitable between Russian and US forces in norther Syria and between Israel and Russian backed troops along the Golan.
Obama would look like a total idiot. The Left would be unable to defend him in the face of such a stupid decision.
Putin is absolutely desperate for something that will not only be a national distraction from the disaster area that is the Russian economy, but rally people to him as the Great Leader fighting valiantly against the Big Evil Imperialist.
I also suspect he wants to make the most of a unique opportunity to beat an old foe while the inmates are running the asylum.
So now Russia is threating war with the US and our punk president from muzzieland sits in his golf cart and gives away the farm. Even if trump is elected, the man doesn’t have the time, dollars or military to stand up to Russia and China and all the muzzie nations holding hands together. The punk in the WH has damaged our military, our ability to war fight at a high level and down graded our equipment to WWII levels. We were ambushed by Japan back then when we were caught with our pants down and it can happen again. ONE nuke over the US will wipe out all our electrical systems with an EMP blast. At the same time the punk will be on the golf course in Hawaii and not care. ONE, just ONE nuke will put the USA in the stone age. No computers, no TV, no electricity, no cars, no airplanes, no gas pumps, no radio, no lights, no water pumping, even your toilets will not flush. One Commie sub off the coast can put a nuke over this country in mere minutes and there is absolutely nothing the punks in the WH can do about it, or even want to do anything about it. It will be mission accomplished for them. America destroyed. Mission accomplished. Off to live in Saudi or BY-rain, or one of his mussie pal’s kingdoms. He’ll hold hands with his homo lover while people in this country kill, rape, steal and rob for a can of beans. Don’t think this stuff will, can happen. I draw your attention to the Holy Bible. We turned our back on God and He has judged us, and found us wanting. Thus, His judgment is now upon this nation, and all you see falling apart around you is because He has lifted His hedge of protection from this nation. He once had His hand over us and we were the most powerful and most prosperous and richest nation in the world. Now we are broke, have no jobs, are in debt over our heads by feet, with other nations laughing at us as weaklings. The Most High God’s judgment is upon us. ONLY one thing can save this nation and that is NATIONAL REPENTENCE. That is the nation getting on its knees and asking forgiveness. But I don’t see this smug, we can do it our way ourselves nation doing that. Our actions have put us in this position and our actions are what will destroy us. Regardless of what anyone believes, Donald Trump, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays cannot change that. ONLY, ONLY REPENTENCE CAN! end of rant. yea it may be the only way to furthur the coup, Russia is probably in with Obamma..the country has allowed this lawless group to subvert the law..they know if they lose they will be exposed and all go to prison under a Trump administration..that is the only reason..they want to finish their coup and stay in power.
