Actually, here in NH the counties along the border of Mass tend to be heavier Republican. It is the southwestern corner(around Keene State), the area around Durham(University of NH) and the lakes region(retirees from everywhere that own expensive lakefront houses) that tend to vote Democrat.

Many of the people that moved here from Mass(I moved from NY) tend to be the folks that did not like the liberal policies of the Commonwealth.

The problem has been that the retirees from other states do not like the high property taxes and no income tax, especially if their lakefront “cottage” is valued so high.
They also do not like the fact that almost all towns(not cities) do not have trash pick up or other what they considered basic services.

I’ve been saying since last year that Trump v Clinton is like a replay of Reagan v Carter 1980. The poll gap for this same date is showing Carter with a 4-point lead. Thanks for the image.

The “Lakes Region” of NH is heavy GOP, especially Belknap County....north of there, not so much.

Fascinating.

I guess Reagan got a big convention bounce? Looks like that, then Carter “came back” and made up a 10 point deficit.

Then Reagan only led once more, right at the end.

Amazing. Thanks for posting

note also that the final vote count was Reagan’s 50.7 to Carter’s 41.

Reagan vastly exceeded his final Gallup number, and Carter was way below his.

Amazing.

I think that’s because many on the left like Johnson’s support for drug legalization and his anti-interventionist foreign policy in addition to the fact that he’s pro-choice and supports gay marriage. On crime and national security, he is to the left of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and many conservatives who considered Johnson recently abandoned him now that they know this.

"This is Yoooge! Exactly what I expected. As we approach the election, support for Johnson sinks, Trump is the beneficiary, and the Trump landslide grows in strength. TRUMP LANDSLIDE COMING..."

Stoner and Steiner get 3% between them if they are lucky, and I have been saying so for eons. Been their, done that, and we have the tee-shirt too prove it. We all knew will go that way with the outliers being Perot and Anderson, everyone else is and were a waste of a vote.

Your post. And Sunday when it is 3 to 1, he will be like Daniel going in to the lions’ den. But we all know how that turned out. smiles
