Don’t kid yes elves about one thing. This is going to hurt. Yeah, Bill Clinton is worse. But that was then. This is now. And the short-attention-span voters live in the moment.

Better it was now than November 1.

He needs a really good debate performance to shift the focus.

I'm pretty much a fuddy-duddy, square, in fact a borderline prude. The hype associated with this dustup did initially give me pause. Then I watched and listened to the whole Billy Bush interview. In the words of Peggy Lee, "is that all there is?" While Mr. Trump's words aren't those I ordinarily toss around, I've heard much worse -- even from respected people in my church. This is a big nothing burger.

He needs a really good debate performance to shift the focus.

I think this will blow over soon. His apology, quite sincere and free of weasel words, will be effective. He did fine in the last debate, connecting with the people of the Real America. His momentum is building and this second debate will pave the way to a landslide of 310+ EVs come November. Count on it...and archive this post. I'll be around when Trump wins...bigtime!

Probably did it now for a couple of reasons.
One is the debate, of course.
Another could be that many people, myself included, are planning on voting early. Ours opens October 10.
I am voting for Mr Trump.
My poker playing friends and I said far worse at our games. smh
