I’m sure all the facts will come out in due time. There might be a history with this suspect and his dealings with police. The police chief said at the earlier briefing he would soon be providing details on earlier calls to this house.
The suspect is reportedly still holed up in the house. There’s a massive police presence, with multiple agencies involved.
Well .. there’s a lot of history in Palm Springs/Palm Desert area .. related to the attack in San Bernardino. And, it should be noted that there is an encampment of Muslims over in the desert.
The other possible connection comes from Palm Desert where a man disappeared and his body was later found in a pond at one of the golf courses. This death is possibly also linked to several other deaths (same M.O.) around the Great Lakes area. All young men, all attending an event, all disappeared, all were found in a body of water. Recently, in MN, there were 3 arrested (Muslims); have never heard a word about them since. Can’t seem to find any info on them.
However, my connection is not only the method of death and the other stats which are the same, but after investigating the San Bernardino shooting, one of the people living with the couple, had been radicalized .. right around the time the Palm Desert death occurred.
I remember that after all the Great Lakes deaths, there was this surge of people wanting to travel to Syria to join ISIS. I have always wondered if their passage to Syria was the killing of a white person. However, there’s no more info on any of it. Really bugs me.
What really made me curious about all those deaths was the similarity to gang activity. When a person wants to join a gang, they are usually required to perform some action related to the gang’s normal activity (such as stealing cars, petty theft, stealing car parts, stealing guns or ammo, and then killing people). The jihadist goes straight to the top and requires killing of people.
