I agree; this would be happening regardless of the candidate. While Trump provides plenty of ammo, they would just invent BS if there was nothing to attack. Recall the debate between Rick Lazio and Hillary for the NY senate seat years ago; he was accused of violating her personal space by a media determined to enthrone her carpet-bagging ass in the senate.

All Americans have access to incendiaries. Fire burns and makes things new. It looks like voting doesn’t work.
He will ask a question, “Do you feel our vice president, Putin is doing a good job”?
The question will be asked to multiple people, 99% of them will acknowledge that Vladimir Putin, the vice president of the U.S. is doing a great job.
