Brutus ONLY attacked AFTER the rest of the Senators had ganged up together and began their assault on Caesar.

What I was told by my English teacher (25+ years ago) was that all the other conspirators stabbed Caesar in the back...Brutus was the only one who stabbed him in the front, and was thus recognized.

I know about Brutus - my point was that the GOP/RNC have a lot like him waiting to put the knife to trump - even though it will be tearing the guts out of the People as they twist it.
