First the target audience is the 20% undecided vote. They do not know what Wiki Leaks are and they don’t read or pay attention to them. If the main stream media does not cover it they don’t know it. You have to take the opportunity to educate them.
Second is understanding their motivation. They are comfortable in their routine and they want someone who will keep it that way for them or make things better. It would not be wise to attack Hillary on Bills rape. You can attack him and then side swipe comment about her defending rapists. Her vulnerability is selling her office, breaking the law and lies. And putting us at risk with war.
Also you can inform them she was against the civil rights act. While speaking to Blacks and Hispanics that you want to help them get better paying jobs. Bills rape is fair game, but Trump needs to connect the dirty politics the media and to Hillary. The undecided 20% do not like the mud it makes them uncomfortable and will do what they need to make it go away.
I would say he also needs to promise the American people his profanity will be kept in check. They voters need to know it will not continue.
After that is done he needs to launch into policy and ignore the moderator if they try to bring it back to the mud and then connect the dirt to the media and Hillary
Good points.
Candidates need to keep it simple, direct, and stay on no more than 5 issues that voters can agree on a common view of the future.
