A Houston-area woman says a teenage cashier at a Kroger supermarket in Spring, Texas, stepped away from the cash register and refused to check out her groceries last week because she was offended by the message on the customers T-shirt. It read: Police Lives Matter / All Lives Matter.
The incident occurred just a week after a similar situation in Alexandria, La., when a police officer in uniform said a cashier declined to check out her groceries.
In Texas, the woman, who says her husband is a police officer and gave only her first name Meredith told KTRK Eyewitness News:
"She was stating that the shirt I had on was basically a slap in the face to her and she was doing everything she could not to cry. She made me feel ashamed to have the shirt on, and I dont appreciate that.
The incident has led the Blue Bow foundation, which works to support police officers and their families, to sever ties with the grocery chain.

This ongoing crap is exactly why we need Donald. And quickly.
The police should return the favor and put these morons on a "do not serve" list. Let 'em call the local BLM office if they need police services.
Boycott Kroger?
I'm in.
I dont know about Texas but in Ohio Krogers is a union shop. So it may not be so easy to fire the idiot.
Soooo... now the cops won’t go to Kroger, but the BLM’ers will. Hope that store manager hasn’t used up much of his shrink budget for the year.
For the record...Kroger owns QFC, Fred Meyer’s, Ralph’s, Ralph’s Food for Less, Dillon’s, Smith’s, Frys, Bakers, City Market, FoodCo, Gerbe’s, JayC’s, King Soopers, Owens, Payless, Harry Teeter, KwikShop, Loaf n Jug, Tom Thumb, and Turkey Hill.
Kroger just painted a bullseye on itself (not to be confused with Target’s logo) that shoplifting will most probably NOT result in a timely police response.
My advice to Kroger: Fire the employee, apologize profusely to the shoppers, make a sizable donation to a law enforcement non-profit and hope they’re nice enough to let you back into their good graces.

How ridiculous. You act like as if the entire store refused to server the customer, instead of just that twit teenage cashier. That said I very seldom shop at Krogers anyway because their prices are so high
In general ,Kroger staff are in rude and
very uninterested in helping anyone .
Don’t miss shopping at them .
What part of the store backed up the twit aren't you able to comprehend?
Kroger, from what I remember, tends to be much more supportive of conservative causes than most corporations. They at least tend to stay neutral.
I would wait for a response by them before boycotting.
Viva la Revolucion.
A preview of hillary’s America.
Venezuela, here we come!
Well, if Kroger fires or disciplines the employee, you'd have a valid point. But if they let her get off scot free, then a boycott is entirely appropriate.
The Revolution is ON!
Vote Trump!
If Kroger does not fire the twit and publicly apologize, then they deserve a boycott. You'd never see a white conservative cashier refuse to serve someone with an Obama shirt, Hillary shirt, Kaepernick jersey, etc.
You won’t have this issue at HEB.
Our local convenience stores, TurkeyHill Markets, are owned by Kroger. Thankfully, I have never seen, nor heard of, such an incident occurring at any of these stores. In fact, the local store, just down from the police station, is always frequented by the police. It’s not unusual to see a couple cops outside, laughing and shooting the bull with local patrons. Sort of like the old general store sit around the Franklin stove chit chat of long ago.
I’m out. I’m not going to punish an entire corporation because they have one feather headed employee.
That said, the aforementioned feather head should not be working in retail if she has such fragile sensibilities. I suggest they find her another position in the store, like maybe stacking shelves on the midnight shift.
“How ridiculous. You act like as if the entire store refused to server the customer, instead of just that twit teenage cashier.”
You are correct. Wait until Kroger makes a statement before deciding what to do.
Where are you getting that? Nothing in the story says they backed her up.
