We were in the boardroom one time figuring out who to blame for the task, and he just stopped in the middle and pointed to someone and said, Youd f... her, wouldnt you? Id f... her. Cmon, wouldnt you?I only watched parts of a couple episodes of The Apprentice and it was abundantly clear the competition involved putting contestants under enormous stress to see who could work under all different kinds of pressure. The person continued: Everyone is trying to make him stop talking, and the woman is shrinking in her seat.
It does not surprise me at all that this sexualized banter took place at the board room table - whether it was televised or not...particularly given the entertainment factor of the program.
Neither would this make any difference to me in the voting booth. With all the bedroom shenanigans played out in D.C. over the last decades - this banter does not move my concern meter - not one bit.
Concern is uncalled for. This is a time to be carefree.
