Catholicism is as far "fundamentalist" as they can go acceptably? So, they desire to be Evangelicals, but their social circles won't allow that choice? That is pretty stunning stuff there.

When Hillary was at Yale Law School, she hung out with atheists who demeaned all religion. She never attended any church service of any kind. She had expressed her virulent anti-Catholicism to those who attended Mass at Saint Thomas More parish or Saint Mary parish.
As FLOTUS the only time she and Bill went to church services where when Bill was trying to “repent” (or was he trying to Re-Penthouse?) for his dalliances with Monica Lewinsky.
The Communists have been open about their desire to destroy religion and to impose perverted “gender relationships” on the masses.
The term I found interesting in the emails was “Christian democracy”. The Church teaches that Christ established the Kingdom of God. He did not establish a Democracy of the People regardless of what faux catholics (small c intended) like Leon Podesta might desire.
Belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior, both true God and true man, is not a democratic notion.
Faith is a gift from God, and we accept the beliefs laid out in the Gospels, or we don’t accept them. At no time did Jesus indicate that these beliefs were negotiable. In fact, he emphasized that others would follow who would try to lead us astray, and we should be vigilant.
