President Obama lit into Donald Trump and his Republican defenders Friday, attacking him for his authoritarian streak, creepy sexist comments and alleged sexual assaults.
"You don't have to be a husband or a father to know that that kind of language, those kinds of thoughts, those kinds of actions are unacceptable, they're not right. You just have to be a decent human being," Obama said, mocking Republicans who have finally thrown Trump under the bus for "political expedience" following his comments that his fame let him sexually assault women - and subsequent claims from more than a half-dozen women that he did exactly that to them.

"It wasn't disturbing enough for you when he was saying Mexicans who are coming here are rapists or patriotic Americans of Muslim faith are different and should be treated differently?" he continued. "If you say you're about family values, you have to be about family values all the way through."

That's what they call hindsight.
If people back then knew the shape the country would be in now, they wouldn't have elected Obama. But they didn't know. That's why he won.
Voters now are fed up with Obama. Back then they were fed up with Bush, not with the new guy they hadn't even heard of a year before.
