They want to get rid of the replacements for the CFCs, which were a non-problem in the first place as proven by the alleged problem vanishing much faster than their models predicted. Reagan got conned with the Montreal Treaty. That made everyone buy new ACs. Now they want you to buy a new AC again and have you run PROPANE as its coolant. So your house will burn down when there’s a leak and a spark. CFCs and HFCs were inert, no fire hazard. They want big places to go back a century and use AMMONIA as their AC coolant so we can have more bad chemical burns from that.
When the real question is, what chemical benefiting mankind will NOT ultimately end up on the list of BAD chemicals associated with the mythical, pseudo science, of global catastrophic warming?
The cost of compliance with government rules and regulations written by unelected bureaucrats will go down in history as the straw that bankrupted the public, unless state governments grow a pair and tell the bureaucrats we will not comply.
