The reference to Harry Truman's "Give 'em Hell" tour is quite apt. Dewey sat on his lead until it evaporated. The pollsters even stopped polling during the summer because Dewey's lead was so big. Truman, however, knew he would win.

Truman, like LBJ and Dubya, could be deadly boring when reading a prepared text. But when it came to stump speaking, all three knew how to work a crowd and use barnyard humor to make a point. Trump has that gift.

Just got back on about 15 minutes ago. Had a phone call with my sister then a bite to eat. FR is slow for me now.

FNC and Fox Biz have been talking about the WikiLeaks a little. They were showing a chart last night (think it was on Hannity) and on F&F this a.m. above the coverage. Huge coverage for Trumps alleged “indiscretions” and seconds on Hillary, NBC had no coverage on WikiLeaks.

Hillary is resting and gathering more $s - she was here in Seattle yesterday for that and IIRC also in CA. Now, she’ll hold up until Wed for the debate. Trump has been bringing up some of the things at his rallies, but definitely more people will hear about it on Wed.

Great September fundraising numbers. But, I’m wondering: Where are the ads? Trump Campaign was going to blitzkrieg $140M or more in ads in closing weeks of campaign. Here in Florida, it’s #CrookedHillary ads nearly 24/7!! Only rare Trump ad. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? Social media ads are great, but there’s still something to be said for saturation TV/radio ads that essentially flood people’s subconsciences.

I’m wondering if he’s going to flood the market for a bit of a surge during the last 3 weeks - maybe pay more for his ads in order to bump the Hitlery ads?
