Much MORE than 30% would leave the GOP forever, should Trump lose...which he is NOT going to do.

Nope. I’d say 30% is about right. You have 3 groups in the GOP: Patriots, Ted Cruz type GOP plantation porch conservatives and Bush country clubbers. Only the Patriots would consider leaving the party, IMO. In the end it’s better for us to stay and be the GOPe’s worst nightmare until they agree to govern in a conservative manner.

There aren't all THAT many white glove BUSH types left. So you have to recalculate those people.

How many crazy Cruzers are there? I don't know, but those in Texas are a dwindled down group.

Have you followed Cruz’s career at all since he took on an establishment candidate in the primary and won his Senate seat?

He has been a constant thorn in the side of the GOPe. McCain hates him. Boehner hates him. McConnell hates him. Graham hates him.

Sessions praised him. Lee praised him. DeMint praised him.

We get it that you don’t like him because he went against your precious Donald. It doesn’t mean you should rewrite history to try and prove a point. Cruz was by far the most socially and economically conservative and pro Constitution candidate in the race on traditional conservative issues. This is indisputable. He wasn’t AS anti-immigration as Trump (but he was much more so than the rest of the field). He wasn’t AS anti-Islam as Trump (but he was much more so than the rest of the field). He wasn’t as anti-globalism/pro-sovereignty as Trump. These are some important issues that I hope define the future of conservatism. I am extremely glad Trump is bringing these to the forefront. These are the reasons why I hope Trump wins and will gladly vote for him (unlike Romney who I felt sick voting for).

To say Cruz is part of the GOPe is laughable and ignorant.
