of course...it actually seems like a very good dish. salty/fatty bacon and the crispy, lower key water chestnut.
I used to make these and I would have a half sphereical shape of cooked chicken liver and the other half of water chestnut. Thick bacon half cooked and then finished off under the broiler. Wow.
