ACORN filmmaker James O’Keefe sentenced in Sen. Mary Landrieu break-in. Which also did not accuse him of altering the video.
Conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe was sentenced to three years of probation, 100 hours of community service and a $1,500 fine after he pleaded guilty on Wednesday to misdemeanor charges stemming from his involvement in a break-in at Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-La.) office.
In January, O’Keefe and three others were arrested by federal authorities at Landrieu’s office on allegations of phone-tampering.
Prosecutors initially said they caught four individuals in the process of committing a felony, but the charges were later reduced to misdemeanors.
O’Keefe got the toughest sentence. His co-defendants, Stan Dai, Joseph Basel and Robert Flanagan, each got two years of probation, 75 hours of community service and the same fine as O’Keefe.

When in the post debate analysis after ABC News declared that Hillary won, that confirmed for me that Trump stomped her.

As the CNN panel was trying to “analyze” the debate, Trump supporters started chanting loud chants of “LOCK HER UP!”

Damage control on all sides. There have very recently been public chants of “CNN sucks” and “Tell the truth!” directed at CNN.
Let’s not forget that once upon a time, hidden camera gotchas were invented by the legacy drivebys. There may be weaknesses to this approach,but while the method has been tut-tutted by those outted, the contents are still fair game.
The weak *defense* that the hacked emails were ‘altered’ is all the donks have. No one believes them.
O’Keefe received probation. Initial felonies were reduced to misdemeanors. Creamer’s felony fraud was upheld and he received a too-short prison term. The actual organizer (Forval?sp)is only too happy to pat himself on the back for 50 years of “bringing it” to Republican “aholes” and “m*****f*****s”. This stuff has been observed everywhere and is common knowledge. No one is shocked to finally have it confirmed.
CNN is pivoting. They have a very lucrative brand to protect. Public eyeballs made them powerful and wealthy. I’ll grudgingly give them acknowledgement for showing the clips, but they are far from innocent. (Same for FNC). The media vacated their responsibility and a vacuum was formed. WikiLeaks, Anonymous and Veritas filled the vacuum and the people’s sacred right to know was upheld. Points to WikiLeaks, Anonymous and Veritas.
Never forget CNN itself told us with a straight face that since the emails were stolen, we could not see them and must rely on CNN’s gatekeeper status. That was their 1st response and it got the raspberry it deserved.
So: acknowledgement that they showed a few seconds of clips. Respect? Never.

I sense a power struggle inside CNN’s leadership.

Time will tell, but historically the big money has always been with the ‘crony-capitalists’ and not the free market patriots. Been that way since Teddy Roosevelt.

I use Adblock Plus (I see someone has already recommended it). When people complain about not being able to go to sites because the ads/popups are so bad, I just smile ....
A few sites want you to turn off your ad blocker before they will let you see content ..... I never do & can usually find the content somewhere else if it’s something I want to see bad enough.

CNN could double down, rely on their public saturation contracts (airports/gyms/et al)and risk becoming irrelevant and ignored, reduced to background noise.
FNC is all over the place, trying to pivot their way between crony capitalists and voice of the people. Probably won’t work, but their choices are few.
If there’s a real revolt of consciousness and if the internet survives to disseminate exposes, the media may simply have to join the revolution or risk making the vacuum even larger.
Be sort of fun if all the hackers now just stealing personal data decide to become Anonymous/WikiLeaks/Veritas. Where will all the elites be without $1k phones and an unquestioned venue for propaganda? What if they had to evaluate every feed in light of the truth being out there?
