Why, in your opinion, should Trump refuse to go ? This is a MAJOR event. And it’s always very entertaining. In ‘12, Romney was actually excellent but Obama was his usual humorless self.
Both presidential candidates go every four years. I don’t know about the nominal Catholics, but practicing Catholics and their clergy are about 90% for Trump. There’s no option for believing Catholics, given the importance of abortion. And less now that the Podesta emails with their anti-Catholic vitriol have been leaked.
