When Jesus was criticized for eating and drinking with sinners He was using those occasions to convert their hearts. From what I’ve seen of these dinners, the sinners seem to actually be celebrated. In any event, I just pray this event allows the Holy Spirit to work through Mr. Trump to proclaim His truth.
Oh give it up! This is NOT a “religious” nor even a Roman Catholic prayer and sermon dinner; it’s for LAUGHS and to raise money.
I read a post a few minutes ago where the poster said ‘he (Trump) isn’t even religious’. I thought to myself, do any of us know how God works? I’ve always been told he often works in ‘mysterious ways’. I don’t think people would have classified Patton as ‘religious’ either.
