My question is why did Mike Chris Wallace even ask Trump this question in the debate last night. Did he not remember the Florida Recount fiasco of 2000? Also note he didn't ask Hillary the same question.

Excellent monologue by Rush. Thanks for posting it, NYer!
The hypocrisy by the left is astounding.

They knew Hillary got her ass handed to her, so they needed a topic to divert attention from the substance of the debate. And the more outrageous and hypocritical the topic, the more diverting it would be. So - this.
It’s all just a diversion tactic.

DannyTN's Guide to Restoring Electoral Integrity - Version 1
- Hire multiple audit firms to come up with best electoral practices with the following goals:
- Ensure that only eligible voters vote.
- Voters only vote once and in one jurisdiction.
- Security electronic machines and verifying that the code is public and has not been tampered with.
- Securing the voting and vote collection process so that the opportunity by any party is limited.
- Bring the audit firms together and work out a standard set of practices.
- Develop a scorecard that so that each poll station can be measured against the standard set.
- Audit states and poll stations prior to elections and make the scorecard results public with recommendations to improve.
- Audit during elections to make sure the practices are correctly applied.
- Make all standards and results public.
- Make all steps of the collection process public. (Except of course keep the individual vote anonymous.

On his talk show today, former conservative Michael Medved was defending Gore’s reaction to the 2000 election while slamming Trump for his remarks last night.

The Democrats’ incessant condemning the Supreme Court for their ruling in the 2000 election (they always ignore the fact that the recounts always had Bush getting more votes than Gore) may have been a major part of why John Roberts caved in over Obamacare in 2012...feared that the Supreme Court would get more bashing from the media and the Democratic Party.
