I think it was disrespectful to his hosts and will be used as proof he can't control himself.
I just seen the letter from Anthem that they sent my son, he works a minimum wage job, his premium went from $25.15 per month to $69.38 per month. Trump should be hammering Obamacare daily.

Can’t control himself? I believe his speech was written in advance.

Hillary said that when immigrants see the statue of liberty they see hope but Donald sees a 5.

It is an affront to decency and sanity to even have this event. With what is on the line right now there is nothing served by playing “get along” at a publicity stunt event.

I understand everyone is supposed to get along at The Roast. In another era when the sides weren’t as completely opposed in worldviews it made sense.

Not today.

He only had 3 options:
1) Not go
2) Go and be a soft “get along”
3) Go in hard and hit hard and not worry about overdoing it.

He HAD to go to satisfy the tradition. Not going would have made him look bad. But to soften the blows just to “get along” for the night? How could he? If he went soft we’d all be sitting here wondering if his fire had gone out or if the system was getting to him.

So at this time I’d rather be hearing that he went a little too far. Anything else would just make him look like he is denying the urgency of this election for a laugh or that he has been putting us on and he doesn’t really think the situation in the country is as dire as we believe.

There is simply nothing at all about any of this that lends itself to overly lighthearted humor.

So rather than worry about whether he was gracious to the hosts perhaps instead wonder what the hosts expected by putting them both in the room under these conditions. They quite literally asked for it.

At first glance that would seem to be the case. But the hosts knew the positions of the Democrats when they invited Clinton. The hosts also know how much government money the Democrats give to them for "God's work."

Like many Democrat "Catholics" maybe they overlook the fact that Democrats kill babies.

That is the case in my home town where "Catholics" have been voting for Democrats in spite of Roe vs Wade, because they believe the fallacy that the Democrats bring "jobs" into their district. My home town looks like Detroit, only on a smaller scale.

The host’s were first disrespectful by having designated an “honorable” speaker at a Catholic charity event who is now shown to hold disdain for them. Do you honestly think the media would have given him an honest shake in the first place?

Better yet, events like these are finally going to place a little more consideration on those who they “honor”.

Trump’s hosts profess to be Christians yet they break bread with the most vile, corrupt, war mongers this planet has ever assembled. As a Catholic I say shame on Dolan who by all appearances would prefer a five star dinner and a glass of fine wine to a dose of reality. Well done, DJT.

“I think it was disrespectful to his hosts and will be used as proof he can’t control himself.”

Well aren’t you the snowflake. No matter what Trump said, the criminal media would use it against him. Trump was great while in enemy territory. Be thankful America finally has someone who fights to win.

Vote Trump 2016

“I think it was disrespectful to his hosts and will be used as proof he can’t control himself.”

It was disrespectful to have all of this hypocrites show up who either publicly or privately display their contempt for the Catholic Faith. Not demanding an apology for the bigotry Clinton and her gang display is disrespectful.

It is time to be courageous, brave and outspoken.

You make a great point about Obamacare, but Bill Clinton seems to be handling the trashing of it just fine. If Trump took the time to detail all of the failed policies he’s fighting against he would have run his time out.

I think it was disrespectful to his hosts and will be used as proof he can't control himself.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you, but not in this case. It's disgraceful that so many pathologically anti-Catholic zealots would be invited to a major Catholic fundraiser like that. I wish the organizers of this event would just stop pretending they have anything to say, and cancel the stupid thing.

Nonsense. He was in a room packed with his enemies.

If you want another pansy to break bread, make nice and vacation with that evil witch, you may well get your wish in another 4 years.

Make no mistake about it - fighting them brutally, is the only option.

If he fails, there is no obvious immediate way out of the American death spiral.

People will rue the day they questioned the man that actually shot back hard to these criminals. Many of us have been waiting a lifetime to see it.

I knew he was going to skewer everyone in the room when he opened with the lines about how all of them were his “friends” and more than willing to take his money until he decided to run on the Republican ticket at which point they turned on him like dogs and began to publicly excoriate him in the worse ways possible.

The gloves came completely apart and he went bare-knuckle as soon as he made the remark about Hillary’s campaign team being the heads of NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN - all of whom were in attendance.

As soon as he said that I told my wife - “He’s about to go postal.”

I wasn’t disappointed.

When the enemy - and make no mistake, everyone in attendance at this “dinner” is nothing less - invites you into their midst, the worst thing you could do would be to cower in any way, shape, or form.

He was, and is, fearless. And *that* my friends, is what has *them* so afraid...
