No Canine unit that I know of..but will ask..
This is a small rural town,but we are ‘sorta’ well known as on 09/11/2001 flight #93 went down in a neighboring small town called SHANKSVILLE,PA.
I’m in Somerset,PA. and hospital is small compared to most hospitals. but modern and up to date with medical equipment .
The care and service I’ve had is amazing and I’m impressed. I’m use to CLEVELAND CLINIC where my husband has been treated for his heart problems.
Hubby says when he comes into house alone, all three pups look for me, then run to look out front window to see if I’m outside waiting to come in.. he tells them..’mom’ coming home soon, so be good while we all wait.’
Ours is small and rural too Most travel to louisville or INDY A wealthy family was hit by cancer and donated a cancer unit where the local people get chemo and radiation. The dog often visits them and of course is a big hit on pediatic unit although most here travel to Riley in Indianapolis
With the new helipad our local has been used more for rehab etc
