"It appears that the entire coast off Washington, Oregon and California is a giant methane seep,"

Maybe they should study the correlation between methane and liberalism, instead. There's now clearly a geographical correlation.

Get a bunch of Trump voters, sit them in a room and bubble methane through flasks of seawater, and see if they change their votes to Hillary.

When will Congress pass a law to close those seabed vents? Maybe Obama can issue an Executive Order if Congress fails to act!

I remember a reporter for some MSM station, when describing a shooter in a French murder said that he was “african american”. The reporter next to him said something along the lines of “I think you mean african frenchman”. Or something like that.

It’s hard to keep track and easier to just say Black or colored*.

*Where I now live they call them “colored” just like they did when I was a kid in teh 1960’s.

methane vents on the sea floor!! How ever did all of that hairspray and Freon get under the seabed to poison the planet?? How did mankind put all that terrible methane there? Are there COWS under the seabed? NATURE?? Living planet?? Impossible! WE must be to blame- especially evil Americans!! Right? /sarcasm. As if the stoners on the west coast would notice a little methane.

Here’s another revelation by scientists: Crude oil seeps from the ocean floor too.

Let me offer my apologies to the environmental wackos.

Methane naturally escapes from the sea floor in many places around the world and can stoke global warming if it reaches the atmosphere.

This has been known for a very long time, and the global warmers have tried to suppress this information. The Earth releases far more gas and pollutants into the atmosphere than man does. A lot of methane is locked up in ice deep under the sea, and sometimes warms up and escapes. The Japanese and other scientists have been trying to figure out how to mine this stuff from the seabed. If too much gets released, there could be a huge explosion at the surface of the ocean. A lot of this is in the Atlantic Ocean, but as you say there are vents around the planet.

THE green house gas is water vapor. The rest of the greenhouse gasses are marginal in their effect. So its pretty messed up to see an article talking about greenhouse gassses from the ocean while ignoring....well WATER!

Fools have already jumped to conclusion it’s all man-made. Yet, none of this can be directly tagged as man originated. Till then, it’s pure hype & speculation by climate hypsters.
