In Switzerland, EVERY able bodied male is, BY LAW, required to own a weapon, a rifle, at least, I think. It’s an odd law, considering the size and population of Switzerland.
Mountain fighting is great for gorilla warfare.

It’s because the Swiss have no standing army (that I’m aware of). Every adult male is a member of their militia.
