Hillary Clinton is quietly reaching out to Republicans

Hillary Clinton insists she takes nothing for granted and will campaign to the end as if she were the underdog.

But there are increasing signs of her confidence, including devoting more time in her speeches to trying to help Democratic candidates for Senate and other offices.

CNN's Jeff Zeleny shares his reporting on her quiet, private outreach to Senate Republicans as Clinton allows herself to look ahead at the prospect of trying to govern.

"I'm told she's been talking to Republican senators, old allies and new, saying that she is willing to work with them and govern. On the campaign trail she clings very closely to President Obama. She needs him to win the election," Zeleny says. "But she also is signaling she will be a different kind of president. She will work with (Republicans). She wants to have an open-door policy."

“But there are increasing signs of her confidence”

funny how every enemedia outlet started banging this drum at the same time. you don’t suppose the DNC sent out a memo to that effect to their multitudinous media supporters, do you?

“The Republican party is dead to me. Regardless of the result this November, it must be burnt to the ground”

indeed. especially if Trump loses, though in that case the GOP will simply cease to exist due to simple self-immolation without the need for any external flammability.

Should Trump lose, I for one will never vote for another Republican in my life. There’s no real point anyway as the current bunch did nothing to stop obama and everything to help elect Hillary. So why even bother to install another bunch of useless eaters?

Regardless of what happens, the GOP is going into the dustbin after Nov. 8th to keep the Whigs company.

Yep - and good riddance to the Grand Obsolete Party.

“There’s got to be something to this story for a FReeper to post it.”

Not necessarily.

I just posted it to make everyone aware of what is going on with the MSM.

My main point is for us to be aware, but regardless whether the MSM says Trump is ahead or behind, the key is to make sure and get out the vote for Trump for the actual election.
