My parents know that they are sacrificing, but I bet I'm smarter than the brainwashed masses in public and private schools. Not egotistical, but honest...since I don't have to learn how to put a condom on a cucumber or any PC crap...
A few kids make it though a "regular" school with a pretty good education. I went to public schools, but was, for whatever reason, fiercely independent in thought. Had to act up a couple times to get put into advanced classes where I wasn't bored and didn't have to put up with condescending or overbearing teachers.
At any rate, don't look down your nose at your peers who are in schools. Some of them are just as independent-minded as you are.
I think you and your parents are AWESOME. My sister has to work (she was a teacher in a Catholic school but changed professions due to the low pay). My nephew has been in a Catholic school from K-8 and now he is in a Catholic High School. It costs quite a bit, but as you say, at least he’s not having to deal with cucumbers. He’s a good guy and loves to read and work on the computer. He’s asked me about different policies of the parties and candidates. One day, I got a kick out of he and one of his buddies discussing politics. I happened to walk in the room after overhearing their discussion, and he said, I don’t know, ask my aunt, she knows everything about politics and politicians - ha!
I totally support homeschooling and applaud your parents for raising such a great young man. I know you are learning more and better things than you would in a public school. I expect to see you as a state rep, then US Rep or Senator or Governor and possibly President some day - as they say, the world is your oyster!
Keep learning and loving it and being a great big brother and role model to your younger siblings!
I hope you can go to a great university like Hillsdale or Liberty, where they appreciate your wisdom and conservative point of view.
Hope you and your parents enjoyed the rally and had a great time today!
Best,
SC
My DEPLORABLE son is right, we do sacrifice but why not. It’s better than the indoctrination centers (aka public and private schools).
